An inspiring story! Forests are the greatest carbon sink of all terrestrial biomes-our natural climate solution for absorbing excess carbon dioxide. Governments have been very quiet about this obvious solution (perferring for us to spend money on technology to keep the economy going and propping up a declining forest industry), but we need to pay attention to forests and MAINTAIN THE PROTECTIVE COVER OF FORESTS while harvesting small amounts in appropriate locations. Forests protect our future-if we want to have one.
